Defining your goalsHow do you define your goals? Is it a tactical or strategic, an immediate need or a long term objective, a process or a destination? How do you define an opportunity, is it dependent on the resources you have available and have you identified those resources or can you stand on the shoulders of giants and move through space and time to acquire what you need? How can you increase the certainty of accomplishment and the depth of confidence in your abilities?

Transitioning into Take OffTake Off is not when the business or goal is started, it is when that business or goal is producing the profit, the benefit meant to be enjoyed by pursuing the goal. It is often presented as a struggle, to pursue our passions; and it can be. It can also be a managed transition: acquire the skills and experience needed through strategic employment and mentors. The mix of management and leap of faith depends on each individual situation, environment, background, experience, network, opportunities, etc.
